>>ICONIC MIND AWARDS- This will be an intra-school and inter-school writing contest among senior secondary school students. Its aim is to encourage academic excellence among students and motivate them towards attaining high standards expected of them by their family and the society.

>>The dreams of an African child- This is an essay competition among senior secondary school students of Command Day Secondary School Enugu. Its aim is to bring out the literal and creative prowess of the students and to see what their dreams as an African child are. The coveted prize for this competition is a Tablet computer.

The just concluded essay competition had Igweonu Chiamaka winning the coveted prize of a ‘Tablet Computer. Her essay emerged the best with votes from various readers that acted as judges.
>>THE PERSON I WILL GROW UP TO BE- This is an essay competition among senior secondary three students. Two different schools will participate in this essay competition with the best students from each school winning a cash prize. The participating schools will be duly notified.
